well, LA lost, so there went my SB pick...

There were 3 very significant Ram turnovers that sealed the loss.  Stafford's fumble on a quarterback slide. Dropped punt reception. Missed opportunity to score from the 4 yd line. You can't do stuff like that and expect to win the game. So now it's the Seahawks and the Pats.

QB Sam Darnold Hawks vs QB Drake Maye Pats. I never thought Sam Darnold (lackluster at USC) would amount to much, see his employment journey below.  He's recently had a couple of good years.  The Vikings' decision to let Darnold walk in free agency obviously backfired. Darnold earned a second straight Pro Bowl nod in 2025

Drake Maye has had a meteoric career at New England so we'll see if he can cap it off with a SB win.

Seahawks look tough, I'll take them over the Pats

Sam Darnold's Team  Years          Notes
New York Jets            2018–2020  Drafted No. 3 overall; started all three seasons.

Carolina Panthers      2021–2022  Mixed results; 16 TDs and 16 INTs across two seasons.

San Francisco 49ers  2023            Served as backup to Brock Purdy; started Week 18.

Minnesota Vikings      2024            Breakout season: 35 TDs, 14–3 record as starter.

Seattle Seahawks      2025–now   Signed a major deal and led Seattle to Super Bowl LX.

Ha...
LA beat the Bears and will play SEA as I predicted.
Pats beat Hou and will play DEN just as I predicted

Should be LA and Pats in the SB. LA wins.

And No, Tom Brady won't suit up for the Denver Broncos after Bo Nix's unfortunate injury.

Den beat the Bills but Denver's QB Bo Nix broke an ankle bone and is out for the season, so Den won this game but is out for the season too.
Seahawks beat San Fran handley. Seahawks look good.

This leaves...
LA should beat the Bears and will then play SEA. That will be a good game, perhaps better than the SB.
Pats should beat Hou and will play DEN. They should beat DEN and then go on to the SB against LA.

LA and Pats in the SB. LA wins.

OK, Jacksonville/Bills was a good game.
Chargers played terribly against the Pats
LA did beat the Panthers.
Hou should beat Pitts tonight

So next round I’m thinking...
Seahawks beats San Fran.
LA beats the Bears.
Pats and Hou is a toss up, I guess Pats because of playoff experience
Den beats Bills.

Right now I've got the Super Bowl between LA and Den.
LA wins :)

This shows the current NFL playoff schedule. I never watch a complete Pro game. I do watch YouTube highlights of my favorite teams. Currently I like LA, Detroit, Jacksonville and Pittsburg.

I'm showing Arron Rodgers on this image, so it appears like I'm choosing the Steelers to win it all; I'm not. I've been following Rodgers this year and he's as smooth as ever. I really enjoy his play. Close up, he looks older than me. They'll probably loose to the Texans but I hope Rodgers has a good game.

Tom Brady has picked Matt Stafford as league MVP, so I've got LA beating the Panthers, then LA vs SEA should be a good game
Jacksonville - Bills should be fantastic
Chargers at the Pats should be good
